The definition of “forum” in the online Kamus Besar Bahasa Indonesia (KBBI) is a gathering place for the free exchange of ideas: -- it is often used for scientific discussions.
To that end, we present the MEDICAL GAS AND VACUUM INSTALLATION FORUM in Indonesia. To freely exchange ideas, particularly in the scientific field of Medical Gas and Vacuum Systems. This forum was created to bring together professionals working in the field of medical gas and vacuum systems, as well as users of these systems in Indonesia.
We invite all Medical Gas Installers, Owners of Medical Gas System Equipment, sellers of medical gas and vacuum installation products and services, as well as users—specifically healthcare facilities, ranging from community health centers, clinics, hospitals, dental and oral hospitals, and specialized hospitals—to join the Medical Gas and Vacuum Installation Forum that we have initiated.
In addition, we also invite the ACADEMIC COMMUNITY, particularly those in the fields of Piping and Mechanical Engineering in Indonesia, to share their best insights to ensure the best, smoothest, and most beneficial Medical Gas and Medical Vacuum Installation services for all parties.
We also encourage members to discuss issues related to medical gas in healthcare facilities or hospitals, such as the conversion of liquid oxygen to gaseous oxygen; Discussing the benefits of using Liquid Oxygen compared to Gaseous Oxygen, Oxygen Generators, and other alternatives.
We hope this forum will help improve the quality and maintenance of medical gas and vacuum systems in healthcare facilities. And that we can all better understand the IMPORTANCE & VITALITY of medical gas systems in hospitals, clinics, community health centers, and other healthcare facilities. Even increasing the number of hospital beds can be accompanied by expanding the medical gas system simply by “BRANCHING” from the nearest pipeline system connected to the medical gas source.

As mentioned previously, this Medical Gas and Medical Vacuum Installation Forum has successfully announced that a MEDICAL GAS AND MEDICAL VACUUM INSTALLATION STANDARD has been published in Indonesia. This standard was established by BSN in 2021. The title of the standard is SNI ISO 7396-1:2016 Medical gas piping systems – Part 1: Piping systems for pressurized medical gases and vacuum (ISO 7396-1:2016 and ISO 7396-1:2016/Amd 1:2017, IDT).
We also frequently provide information about seminars and training sessions organized by official institutions in Indonesia. Naturally, these focus on medical gas and medical vacuum installations.
